AT&T and Tennessee start text-to-911 trials

Verizon wireless may be the current leader with regards to text-based emergency services with mobile devices in the US, therefore obviously AT&T wants to keep up. And so AT&T has announced this is partnering with the Tennessee management to consider benefit of the state’s “next-era” 911 Internet protocol infrastructure.

The actual trials are limited to AT&T customers within the State right now, as well as for those people, the written text-in order to-911 process is going to be super easy. AT&T will be sending all emergency communications in order to emergency phone services.

It’utes just one condition, but it’utes a start. We will see exactly how effective this particular option would be over time. This’utes a good endeavor. Hopefully it'll save life and function excellent.
